1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through the Office Roots website (officeroots.com). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Office Roots is a registered business operating within the European Union.

2. Products & Pricing

All products listed on our website are live plants and related accessories sourced from professional growers. Product images are representative; natural variation in size, shape, and colour is normal and expected. Prices include applicable VAT and are displayed in the currency associated with your selected region. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice; however, the price confirmed at checkout is the price you will be charged.

3. Ordering & Payment

Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. For business customers, invoice-based payment may be available — please contact us at hello@officeroots.com for details.

4. Delivery

Delivery times and costs depend on your location and will be shown at checkout. We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe indicated on the product page. Delivery delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, carrier disruptions) do not entitle you to cancellation or compensation, though we will keep you informed.

5. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your plants. If a product arrives damaged or in poor condition, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at hello@officeroots.com with photos and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or refund. For full details, see our Returns page.

Living plants are exempt from standard change-of-mind returns due to their perishable nature, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.

6. Business Orders

For orders placed on behalf of a business, the individual placing the order confirms they are authorised to do so. Business-specific terms (volume discounts, net payment terms, custom planting plans) are agreed separately and take precedence over these general terms where applicable.

7. Liability

Office Roots is not liable for damage or injury resulting from improper plant care, placement, or handling after delivery. Our care guidance is provided as general advice and may not apply to every environment. Plants are natural products and their longevity depends on conditions beyond our control.

8. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you consent to the processing of your data as described therein.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Office Roots is registered. Any disputes will be handled through the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
